Use The Law of Attraction

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

The Law of Attraction is not something you’re going to instantly understand, it takes a bit of practice. Once you learn the tools to apply The Law of Attraction, you need to practice and use them consistently. You must challenge your very thought process.

“What ever your mind can conceive it can also achieve” – W. Clement Stone

If you don’t believe that quote, then you are making your reality exactly that. You are making your reality mean that you cannot achieve the very things that you believe. If you believe you can’t become a success – then you’ve just sealed your fate. YOU have to be your #1 fan.

Confused?

Let’s put it in another form. If you believe you have a great idea to succeed in a new business, but fear that you’re going to fail, then guess what? You – are – going – to – fail! Your fears become your beliefs. Your beliefs affect the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction says if you believe, if you feel so passionately about something, you will attract it.

If you believe that you’ll be late for work, and you focus all of your mental energy on thoughts related to being late for work, guess what? You are going to be late for work! It might sound silly at first, but everyone has been guilty of focusing their thoughts and energy on negative things. Do you want to continue doing that?

But even focusing on “I don’t want to be late for work”, or “I hope I don’t fail”, is attracting exactly that. The universe doesn’t care whether you want it or not, it’s the fact that you’re focusing on it that brings it about.

Speeding Up The Law of Attraction

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

When learning to use the Law of Attraction, it is inevitable that at some point you will begin wanting to accelerate the process.

Of course, the process will accelerate by itself.  Each time you successfully manifest your desire, you will gain a bit of faith in the process, and the next time that faith will bring about a faster result, further building your faith.  However, there are still a few things you can do to really kick your manifestations into high gear.  Let’s look at a few.

First of all, learning to really focus your attention is one of the most powerful ways to speed up the Law of Attraction.  First, you must try a simple meditation.  Sit in a quiet place, clear your mind as best as possible, and relax.  Now place your finger in the center of your forehead between your eyebrows.  Get a good feel for the spot on your head where your finger is touching.  Then remove your finger.

Now place your attention in the same spot on your forehead you were touching before.  Keep your attention there.  You will notice that the better you get at this simple tactile focus, the quieter and clearer your mind will become.

This is a practice that will allow you to learn single focus, or the art of narrowing your mental concentration onto a single point.  When your focus is on a single point, there is a lot of energy put into that point.  If you learn to direct that focus into your visualizations, you will find your desires manifesting much quicker.

Another trick you can use to accelerate your manifestations is to use wasted time during your day to add a little energy to your desire.  If you commute to work, you are probably driving brain dead almost every day.  You get to work or get home generally with a hazy memory of making the trip.

You’re on autopilot.  While eating lunch or dinner your mind is probably wandering all over the place.  While walking to or from your car, or standing around smoking, you are probably just chattering away mentally without any real direction.

Take control of that time!  You don’t have to do any fancy visualizing, but just daydream for a moment about having what you desire.  These little spurts of energy added throughout your day will really add up.

It’s like having an extra dollar fall into your pocket once every couple of hours.  It seems trivial each time it happens, but if you stick them away somewhere they’ll begin adding up fast.

Give these two tricks a try.  They will shorten the amount of time needed to manifest your desires.  Use them to supplement your regular visualization regimen.  And always remember, have fun when you do it, or don’t do it at all!

Vibrate With Abundance: The Law of Attraction

Saturday, January 12th, 2008

The Law of Attraction is all about learning to vibrate your physical, emotional, and mental energy in tune with your desires in order to attract and manifest them into your life.

The most common method of doing this is by using focused visualization sessions, but there is more that you can do.  Especially in attracting abundance into all areas of your life, you should make an effort to begin vibrating abundance at all times.

This is not as difficult as it sounds.  It only takes practice.  Start by creating some type of reminder, be it your Outlook calendar, a wristwatch alarm, a cell phone reminder, or whatever means you have at your disposal, and have it fire off several times each day.  This alarm should remind you to stop what you are doing for a few moments and center yourself back into an abundance mindset.

If you can make a habit of doing this several times each day, before long you will no longer need the reminder.  You will become more and more abundance-minded, and your thoughts, words and actions will reflect your decision to vibrate abundance.

If you catch yourself becoming overly stressed, tired, or negative, attempt to readjust your energy.  You can use music, or take some deep breaths, in order to center yourself again.

The more you get into the habit of positive thinking and feeling, the more positive circumstances will permeate your daily life.  The more you are able to vibrate abundance through your thoughts, feelings, and words, the more your life will begin to reflect abundance in many different ways.

Finally, for your visualization exercises, work on becoming abundant in specific areas of your life.  You can choose financial abundance, an abundance of excitement, an abundance of friends… anything that brings more abundance into a specific area of your life.  After a week or two, switch up and pick another subject.  The point is to keep abundance in mind and continue vibrating daily.

It can be helpful to work with another person, especially a spouse.  You can combine your efforts, which will more than double the energy being put toward your desired area of abundance.  This is a very powerful tactic, used by many spiritual traditions and by almost all religions.  Multiple people + focused, concentrated energy and thought = powerful, rapid manifestation.

The main point is that no matter how you choose to approach attracting abundance, you remain consistent with your work.  Once you get energy moving in the right direction, it will all be worth it!

The Role of Faith In The Law of Attraction:

Saturday, January 12th, 2008

The Law of Attraction is a powerful tool for living our lives the way we want to.  Knowing that you can attract anything that you desire simply by utilizing the Law of Attraction is wonderful.

But what is “faith” when it comes to the Law of Attraction?  Are you supposed to have faith, or not?  Does it matter?  What is the Role of Faith in using the Law of Attraction?

Faith, as it relates to the Law of Attraction, is not the same as faith in a religious sense.  Faith is absolutely, one hundred percent necessary!  But don’t worry if you’re still unsure – we all have tiniest bit of faith in us, because deep down in our subconscious minds we all know that the universe functions according to the Law of Attraction.  All you need is that little tiny bit of faith to get rolling.

Faith in this sense is an innate trust in the process of manifestation using the Law of Attraction.  Faith is an incremental process.  The first time you work to manifest something, you may not have much faith at all.  It may take a long time or a lot of effort to actually manifest your desire.  However, once your first manifestation effort is successful, you will gain a little bit more faith in the process.

The next time, again you will work to manifest, but this time it will happen a little bit faster with a little less effort.  Again, you will gain a little more faith in the process.  That’s what I mean when I say faith is an incremental process – it grows as you succeed.  This is also where faith in the sense we are discussing differs from faith in a religious sense.

You do not have to have any form of blind faith whatsoever in order to use the Law of Attraction.  Faith is built by success, meaning it builds up bit by bit after the Law of Attraction works for you.

The closest thing to faith you need when starting out is the ability and willingness to set aside your contrary beliefs, just long enough to give the Law of Attraction a fair shot.  If you can suspend your disbelief, then you can get the Law of Attraction working in your life.  You will never have to “unsuspend” your disbelief, as your disbelief will have transformed into belief as you watch your Law of Attraction work yield the desired fruit time after time.

So yes, faith is important.  Faith is actually necessary!  But we all have enough in us to get started, and the Law of Attraction will only work better and faster the more you use it.

Faith will build through your successful manifestations, until finally you reach the point where your faith is strong enough to manifest without any need for you to visualize, concentrate, or worry that your desire may not come to pass.  At that point, you will be able to note a desire, give it a quick boost of energy, and your faith in the process will allow the manifestation to occur.

That’s all you’re ever really doing with the Law of Attraction – learning to allow the process to unfold as quickly and easily as it is able to.  When you become a master, manifestation will be near-instantaneous.  Good luck and may you succeed in your every endeavor!

Is The Law of Attraction A BIG Scam?

Saturday, January 12th, 2008

The Law of Attraction definitely sounds too good to be true.  Until you have truly experienced the power of this law, and manifested your own desires that you know otherwise would not have come into your life, you may feel that the Law of Attraction is potentially just a big fat scam.

Fortunately, this is not so, and all you need to do in order to realize this is to suspend your disbelief long enough to try it out.  Let’s look at how you can do this and start getting some results.

First of all, learning to control your thoughts sounds impossible.  But it’s really simple, when you realize that your emotions arise from your thoughts.  Using your emotions as a gauge, you can easily know when you need to alter your current thoughts and when things are fine.

If you feel bad – upset, lonely, unhappy, depressed, angry – find a way to change your mood.  Play some music, think of something you enjoy, do anything it takes.  Get your thinking back to good things so that good feelings will arise from your thoughts.

If you can begin making improvements in the amount of negative or worried thoughts you have throughout the day, you will have taken a large step towards seeing the Law of Attraction in action.  Sure, things have been smooth for the last few days, but hey, there’s smooth sailing every now and then in life, right?  It’s just a coincidence…

Now it’s time to actually try one of these visualization exercises.  Find a relaxing, comfortable place where you will not be disturbed.  You can prop up on your bed, sit back in the tub, or lounge on your sofa.  You may even want to sit outside if the weather is nice.  Now, pretend like you’re a kid again and just begin daydreaming about something that you want.

But here’s the trick – daydream about your desire as though it is something that you already have, be it money, a mate, or even just a soda.  Your visualization/imaginings/daydream should include you and the object of your desire, and the mental play you’re acting out should be occurring after your desire has manifested in your life.

Do this until you begin to get bored.  Now, how was it?  A lot more fun than you expected, wasn’t it?  Did you get any feelings of excitement, or more desire?  Some emotions should definitely have been drummed up by this exercise.  Ground yourself by stretching or eating, then go back to your normal routine.

If you can do this once a day for a couple of weeks, you will begin seeing the things that you are visualizing manifesting in your life.  Just suspend your disbelief long enough for the Law of Attraction to begin working for you, and you will never have to look back again!

Good luck!
