The Law of Attraction And Prayer

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

The Law of Attraction is a theory commonly associated with New Thought and New Age philosophy. The Law of Attraction is not a new concept. Even Buddha said that ‘All that we are is the result of what we have thought.’

Again in the New Testament of the Bible, Jesus has said ‘It is done to you as you believe…’ This law hypothesizes that one should by no means dwell on the negative, as the metaphysical principle of life is embodied in the Law of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction says that all the images of the mind and the feelings are connected to thoughts which later manifest as reality. In other words, everything in our life has been attracted to us through our mind. The Law of Attraction is also known as the Law of Magnetism, the Power of Thought and Success Consciousness.

The Law of Attraction is the most powerful force and an important law in the Universe. The simplest definition for the Law of Attraction is ‘like attracts like.’ In other words, you get what you think. The Law of Attraction is also fun because we are always waiting and watching for our desires to manifest.

And this is what prayer is all about. In fact anything asked in prayer with a spirit of faith and belief is likely to be achieved. This is the Law of Attraction in action.

The Law of Attraction is a doubled-edged sword because it can bring either success or failure. But Prayer is a positive tool. Prayer gives the person what he asks. When you truly believe in prayer and meditation and ask for specific things, it will be given in response. It is a great tool that connects us to the Universe. The Universe gives a person more of what he is asking for.

The Law of Attraction is true for everyone. This Law is universal because it does not care who you are or what religious belief you subscribe to. It is as true and universal as the Law of Gravity.

In the book of Proverbs in the Bible, verse 7 of chapter 23 says, ‘As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.’ The writer goes one step further in this matter. It is commonly assumed that we think with our minds. But, according to this proverb it is from our hearts that we do our thinking and believing and not from our minds.

The Law of Attraction is not only positive thinking but also faith, confidence and conviction. Controlling the thought processes is the basic idea of many religious practices. In Christianity, Buddhism, Islam and Judaism the ultimate goal is focusing the thoughts towards spiritual ideals.

The Law of Attraction says that if a person focuses on positive things, they will attract good things into their life.  If they focus on negative things then they are likely to perpetuate difficulty.

This is the root of the Law. As human beings we like to focus our thoughts on good things. That is why we believe in prayers and miracles. The best way to pray effectively is to pray with an affirmative attitude. A powerful prayer is one of gratitude which again is positive thought. Thoughts and prayers are governed by the Law of Attraction.

To believe that everything works for our highest good, we need to trust in the Universal Law of Attraction and Prayer which works through us and uses our experiences to expand our consciousness. Let us therefore use the Law of Attraction and prayer to make the world a more joyful and loving place to live.

Moving Into The Flow With Intent

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

You have probably heard that you should relinquish control if you want to achieve success in life. This may be difficult to digest, but there are definitely times when people give up control and move into the flow of their intent.

It is in these moments that the most miraculous things can occur, and lives can change for the better in an instant.

The Law of Attraction can bring your desires close to you with very little work on your part.  The problem many of us have is that we are not used to operating in the same way that our organic, all-powerful universe operates.  When we move into “the flow”, things begin to happen that allow us to manifest our desires very quickly.

Sometimes in life, we will lose control of ourselves or our surroundings.  There will be absolutely nothing we can do within a particular circumstance.  In these moments there is no choice but to let go, and once we let go, we very often find ourselves swept into something that affirms the loving, powerful nature of our universe.

Relinquishing control does not mean giving up power. It is like asking the universe to come to your aid and then trust that it will. When the person’s will is bruised and battered, it naturally loosens up the reigns of control mainly because of the loss of energy. If you see only one way to reach your goal then you are cheating yourself of happiness.

It is true that when you relinquish control of your life and of others that you become greatly empowered. That is why we believe in miracles and dreams that come true with just a wish and not with a plan.

If a person is always making excuses to himself then it is better for him to relinquish control over his schedules and start following his intuition.  It is not worthwhile to spend all of your time working for something that you would not let yourself achieve. So start moving into the flow of your life’s intentions and you will be able to excel and succeed in your work.

Everyone wants to achieve success in life and also have it constantly growing. To reach new levels of success one has to reach new levels of personal growth. If a person is not willing to grow and change then it is better to give up control.  Allow the universe to direct your actions, and watch your desires manifest!

So, relinquishing control is not always negative or depressing. It is one way of letting ourselves move into the flow of our intentions and succeed in life.

The Power of Laughter

Monday, January 21st, 2008

Of all the tools that we as humans have at our disposal, perhaps one of the most important and powerful is the ability to laugh.  Laughter can relieve stress, anger, sadness, and even hatred faster than anything else in the world.  Laughter is very healing to the mind, emotions, and our bodies.  Laughing can even boost our immune systems!

There is a lot of positive energy involved in laughter.  This energy cleans and clears away physical and emotional tensions.  A good laugh also allows us to stop our mental chatter, if only for a brief moment.  In that sense, laughter itself is a form of meditation.  Laughter brings people together and bonds them.  But most importantly to us today, laughter can help when using the Law of Attraction.

You can get as goofy as you want when doing your visualization exercises.  Adding silly, absurd things to your imaginings will help to anchor the desire in your subconscious.  Most importantly, it will make you chuckle to yourself as you do your visualizations.

Those giggles and snickers will add energy to your manifestation, aiding in speedy success.  The humor you add to your visualizations can be visual or situational, but make sure not to use anything that’s contrary to your desire.  If you’re imagining absurdities in your dream house, it’s best not to imagine that dream house falling down, for instance.

Learn to cultivate a sense of humor about life and especially about yourself.  The ability to laugh at yourself, especially in embarrassing or painful situations, is enormously beneficial in life.  It can actually defuse embarrassment, minimize a situation in others’ minds, and remove any stress or emotional discomfort you would otherwise have felt.  Laughter can brighten your day, and in fact brighten your entire world.  Laughter truly is the best medicine.

If you just don’t seem to have a great sense of humor, don’t fear!  You can cultivate a comedic mind easily.  Saturate yourself for awhile in comedies.  Read comedic plays, watch comedy movies, and see as many stand up acts as you can.

Not only will you enjoy the benefits of laughing at each of these, but before long your mind will suddenly begin delivering comedy to you throughout your day, sometimes even during the most mundane of activities!  When you can entertain yourself, your life will be more fun.

Finally, laughter is a powerful healer, both for your mind and for your body.  Laughter frees up your energy, loosens you up, and may assist you in the creative process.

Definitely integrate humor into your visualizations, as this will aid you in speedy manifestation.  Make sure you integrate at least a little bit of humor into your life each day, and you will enjoy the many benefits of the powerful medicine of laughter.

The Law of Attraction In Our Hectic Modern World

Sunday, January 20th, 2008

When learning to use the Law of Attraction, you may find yourself asking, “When will I find the time to do all of this visualization stuff?”  “My life is busy; I don’t have enough hours in the day already!” or “The only free time I have is when I’m exhausted at the end of my day.

How can I drum up positive thoughts and emotions at this point in my day?”  Well, there is plenty of time in your life for the Law of Attraction already!  You just don’t realize it yet.

First and foremost, let’s clear the air about “visualization”.  Visualizing is imagining is daydreaming is imagining is visualizing.  They are all the same thing.  Your imagination, your ability to day dream, is one of the most powerful tools at your disposal!  The thing is, most of us day dream without realizing it, and we may daydream about negatives as much as positives.

Ever had one of these conversations with yourself on a long drive?  “I wish he would say something, then I’d say this!  Then he’d say that!  Then I’d be like, fine!  And then he’d…”  Come on, admit it, we all do it.

The real distinction being made here is that visualization is a conscious, intentional daydream with a premeditated purpose.  This is learning to use that powerful tool intentionally to manifest the reality around you that you truly want to live in.

As is, your wishy-washy, this-way-and-that thought processes and daydreaming already have a powerful effect on your reality, and those processes have been completely out of check!  Imagine how nice your life can be once you’re calling all the shots consciously?

Now, as for time, you actually have loads of free time!  You may not realize it, but there are many moments in your day when you are not really all that busy.  At least, not mentally busy.  When you bathe or shower, when you eat, when you rest, when you are walking or driving around, and even when you’re sitting on the John!   In all of these moments in your life, you can infuse a little bit of consciously-directed daydreaming to add energy to your desired manifestation.

This should be a fun process, never a chore.  You should enjoy this.  If you feel that you’re having to “daydream” about something that bores you, you haven’t chosen a true desire.

Daydreaming about something you want is as natural as natural gets.  It is pleasurable, stress-relieving, and at times intoxicating.  In fact, once you start daydreaming, sometimes the biggest problem you’ll face is a lack of desire to do anything else!

These focused visualizations, aka daydreams, will continue adding energy to your desire until it manifests in your physical reality.  This is the trick to using the Law of Attraction when your life is extremely busy and hectic.

You’ve got to learn to work it in here and there where you can.  Those small efforts will build into big rewards, so keep at it!

It Is Always Now, The Law of Attraction

Friday, January 18th, 2008

Ah, the moment of Now.  One of the trickiest subjects to write about, but one of the most inherently simple subjects to understand once you finally get a grasp on it.

When using the Law of Attraction, it is important to always keep the Now in mind, as the success or failure of your efforts may entirely depend upon the way in which you treat time in your mind.  Let’s look at how taking a proper view about the Now moment can help you in your manifesting efforts.

First and foremost, there is no past and there is no future.  What you remember as the past is merely a Now that is no more.  What you hope for in the future is merely a Now that is not happening at this moment.

Our existence as souls outside of physical reality is entirely in the Now moment.  From out there, right Now you can look into ancient history or the distant future of our planet.  It’s all available in the Now moment.

Try to conceptualize it this way.  Space is three-dimensional.  There’s up and down, left and right, and in and out.  Time is the fourth dimension of space, the one that allows movement within the other three dimensions.  This movement is always occurring only in the Now moment, and in fact all things exist in all places simultaneously.

As humans, we have wired ourselves into this complicated little machine known as a human body in this complicated little Matrix reality known as the space-time continuum.  In doing so, we limit our perceptual abilities to that which allows our body to cope with existing within this vast illusion.

Rule number one – you can’t perceive two things in the same place at the same time.  Rule number two – you are allowed to experience anything you desire simply by desiring it.  Rule number one is basic physical law, and number two is the Law of Attraction.  One is static, two is dynamic.

So, the human mind takes the infinite hazy-wave probability inherent in the Now moment and creates a straight line that is designated as “Time”.  Experience moves along this line, allowing movement within the three dimensions without violating rule 1.  However, due to the culture in which we are raised, we come to believe that this “past” and “future”, which are merely tools by which to discuss events that previously or hopefully transpire(d) in the Now, are actual, real entities.

You can not “travel to the past”.  You can however instantly change your perception of the Now moment to mirror a Now moment that you experienced previously.  We’re certainly not going to get into time travel here, so let’s get back on track.

This is why you must always visualize your desire as having manifested Now, as already being so.  Otherwise, you cause your manifestation to occur in a portion of the Now that your human brain has designated as the “Future”.  The future never comes, so you will not see that manifestation.

By simply always visualizing your desire as existing in your current Now moment, you will attract it into your current Now moment.  There, now you understand the reasons behind that rule.

If you don’t yet have a grasp on the Now thing, don’t worry, it takes awhile to get.  It’s so incredibly simple, it’s difficult to grasp.  Play with the idea though – stop and immerse your senses.  Really take in everything around you, by sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.

Feel how alive and vibrant this very moment is.  This very moment is all that there is, all that there ever was, and all there will ever be.  Learn to consciously create this moment and enjoy the benefits for the rest of your life.
