Success And The Law of Attraction?

When you describe success, what words do you use? What does it mean to you? Who is living a life that you, in your personal view of the word, exemplifies success? What separates `you’ from `them’? In reality, nothing. Nothing in this world can stop the person who conceives, believes and chooses to receive success.

Consider this quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson, great poet and leader of the Transcendentalist movement in the early nineteenth century:

“To laugh much; to win the respect of people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition, to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

Does anything Emerson had to say on the subject of success ring true in today’s complex and highly consumer influenced world? On the surface, it would seem not to, but look deeper with me. What is missing in this passage from Emerson’s extensive writings?

There is no negativity listed at all. No thoughts of `Not hurting anyone, not littering, not being selfish, not being wasteful’, and so on. What is the difference? The difference is quite simply this: Success is not the absence of `bad’, since we live in a world tainted with people and their processes that are intent on evil `bad’ will not disappear from our lives, regardless of our success. Success is not the absence of bad, then, but the actual embodiment of good.

Stop, immediately, thinking what you don’t want in your life. Begin to purposely dwell on those things that, for you, spell success. Are the personal relations in your life in a shambles? Does your bank balance show more coming out than going in on a regular basis? Is your physical health so poor you don’t believe you can bear another day of suffering?

All these issues, and countless others all await the Law of Attraction for positive direction and healing. The universal Law of Attraction does not see `good’ or ‘bad’, it only answers to the force calling. Therefore, if all you think is, `I don’t', `I can’t', `It won’t', you will be right every time. The Law of Attraction is not interested in making a fool out you, if all you think about is what’s wrong with your life, that is all you will continue to see and realize.

When, however your perspective changes to the positive, it is as if the floodgates of heaven had opened upon you, and you won’t be able to find buckets big enough to hold all the blessings that pour down. So, allow your self to be positive, allow your heart , mind and soul to join together with the Law of Attraction and begin today towards a more successful tomorrow.

Welcome back!

How To Create Your Wealth Fund

Looking for an easy way to attract more abundance into your life?  Start by making the money you have act as a magnet to attract more!  One good way to do this is by creating a personal wealth fund.  This is a fun and lucrative activity – and it pays big rewards!

There are several ways to do this, but here’s one to get you started:

First, consider how much frivolous spending you do in a typical week.  “Frivolous” spending refers to purchases of items you don’t really “need,” but you do enjoy.  Perhaps you spend $15.00 a week on gourmet coffee on your way to work, or you buy a cafeteria lunch every day, or you and your family rent 2 or 3 movies every weekend.  Also include clothing, shoes, books, cigarettes, cosmetics, newspapers, and other miscellaneous items you buy on a regular basis.  Make a detailed list of these purchases and set it aside for now.

You may be surprised (and relieved) to learn that I’m not going to suggest you refrain from purchasing these items and instead put the money in your wealth fund.  (Exception: if your spending is out of control and causing severe financial problems, it IS a good idea to control it better.)  However, if you can afford these purchases each week, feel free to continue with them.

BUT – I also want you to set aside 10% of everything you spend on frivolous items.  If you spend $15.00 per week on gourmet coffee, you should set aside $1.50 for your wealth fund.  If you buy 3 new books for a total cost of $41.80, you should set aside $4.18 for your wealth fund.  (I like to round up the change to the next .50 cents to keep it simpler, so I’d actually set aside $4.50)

You can designate a pretty jar or box to hold this money and once you’ve got enough to open a separate savings account at a bank, do it.  (DON’T use your regular savings account, and DON’T request a debit or ATM card for this wealth account!  You don’t want the money to be readily accessible.)

Each week simply deposit your 10% for the week.  And forget that money exists!  Seriously, don’t allow yourself to touch it for ANY reason.

At the end of the year, you should have a tidy sum which you can then invest for long-term wealth.  You can purchase a certificate of deposit, open a mutual fund account, buy some bonds, or any other type of investment you feel comfortable with.

It may not seem like you’d have a lot of money by doing this, but that’s because you don’t realize just how much money you spend on frivolous items each week!

Let’s look at some conservative estimates:

If you determine that you spend $50 per week on frivolous items, you’d be setting aside $5 per week for your wealth fund, which would gain $260 in a year.

However, most of us spend much more than $50 per week on frivolous items.  More than likely it’s closer to $100 – which would give us $520 in a year.  It seems like small potatoes, but it definitely adds up!

Also, don’t forget that most people make at least a few large purchases throughout the year.  If you buy a new flat screen TV for $1200, be sure to set aside $120 for your wealth fund and give it a nice boost!

Can Gratitude Help You Attract More Money?

Gratitude works hand-in-hand with the Law of Attraction. Where financial lack is present, there is a blockage of energy – some form of resistance is preventing the natural flow of abundance into the person’s life.

This can be difficult to understand by traditional lines of thought. Perhaps you are used to thinking of money as a tangible object that you have to obtain, like most people do. However, with the Law of Attraction, there is nothing to obtain, but rather ALLOW.

“Allowing,” as it relates to the Law of Attraction, means being in a state of non-resistance. In other words, not blocking the flow of abundance or goodness into your life. Unfortunately, a focus on lack or struggle automatically creates blockages!

Gratitude is one easy way to dissolve those blockages and get the flow moving again. Below are 3 ways to use gratitude to attract more money into your life:

1) Be grateful for the money you have now

This is obvious, but it’s something that people often overlook when they’ve been focused on lack for too long. No matter how little money you have right now, you need to move yourself into a state of appreciation and gratitude for having it at all. If it helps, you can remind yourself that some people have far less than you do.

When you pay bills, take a moment to appreciate the product or service that created it. You have already received something in return for that money, so feel grateful about being able to give something back.

2) Be grateful for the money you can’t yet see

Even though you may be used to focusing on lack with fearful or anxious thoughts, begin focusing on it with gratitude. Affirm that even though you can’t see the flow of abundance in your life yet, you do know it’s there. Marvel at the way the universe allows you to create your own reality through the power of perception, and affirm your desire to expand your awareness of the abundance all around you.

3) Be grateful for all forms of abundance

Abundance comes in many forms, not just monetary wealth. Make it a daily habit to express your gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful things and people in your life. Be thankful for your loved ones and friends, your job, your pets, and anything else you can think of.

Affirm that it ALL comes from the same flow of abundance that money comes from, and by allowing more of all forms of abundance, you will also be allowing more money to enter your life.

How To Start Believing In Your Abundance!

Do you believe you deserve great abundance?  Do you believe you can have it in your life?

Most of us would like to believe that, but at the same time we have a niggling little voice in the back of our minds that jeers at us:  “Ha!  Who do you think you’re kidding?  You know you don’t deserve to be wealthy and happy.  You’re not one of the lucky ones and you know it.  Just give it up.  You are doomed to live a mediocre life.  Accept it.”

This little voice is usually the result of early programming and negative reinforcement we experience during times of difficulty.  It’s bad enough that this negative voice takes up residence in our minds in the first place, but much worse is that we begin to believe what it says!  We end up sabotaging any efforts we make to live a more abundant life.

If this sounds all too familiar to you, it’s possible you are blocking abundance from entering your life.  Dissolving these inner blockages may take some effort on your part, but it is time well-spent!

Before we go into the steps for doing that, keep in mind three things about this negative voice:

• It is replaying things that people in your life have communicated to you in the past.
• It is replaying things you have said to yourself in the past.
• You do not have to believe these things if you don’t want to!

Here’s how to turn that negative voice into a positive, supporting voice:

Begin speaking kindly and lovingly to yourself.

Remember, that little voice in your head will keep repeating what you consistently tell it.  In the past you may have been harsh on yourself when you failed at something or didn’t follow through with goals you set.  Recording over that negative voice with more positive messages is very simple – just keep speaking kindly and lovingly to yourself as often as possible!  In time, the tone of that mental voice will begin to change.

Celebrate your achievements.

If you believe that nothing you do is ever good enough, begin making it a priority to celebrate everything you do.  Even the tiniest accomplishment should be cause for celebration.  Pat yourself on the back, congratulate yourself, and most importantly feel GOOD about who you are and what you do.  Keep striving to do better, but also give yourself some recognition for even trying!

Believe that abundance is your birthright.

Keep affirming that you do deserve an abundant, happy life.  Expect abundance and goodness in all forms.  Say things like this, “I just know I’m meant to live a powerful life.  I believe I have the strength and ability to make my life into anything I want it to be.”  If you know you deserve abundance, expect abundance always, and allow yourself to open to abundance – you get abundance!

Remember that it will probably take time to notice obvious results.  Keep doing the steps as often as you can, and before long you should find yourself feeling lighter and happier, AND attracting ever-increasing amounts of abundance into your life.

Attracting More Money With The LOA

So many people work so hard to make money only to find that, rather than create more money, they only create more work.

If we understand the Law of Attraction (that we get more of what we put our attention on), it only makes sense.

Our attention is on the work – on what we have to do to make money. But you don’t have to do anything, and in this infinitely abundant universe, you don’t have to make money; it’s already everywhere.

What’s more, those working so hard to make money are making money; they’re just not keeping it, or using it for the things they desire. “But I have bills. I have needs that must be met before I can spend on my desires,” the argument goes. The typical conclusion? “I simply need to make more.” So how do we make money to meet our needs and fulfill our desires?

Focus on the desire. One of the fundamental keys to attracting money into your life is, rather than focusing on the money, focus instead on what it is you want that money to help you do or have.

We already focus on money and work and meeting our needs, and look what happens. The Law of Attraction brings us money and work and meets our needs (we eat, we have shelter, and we’re not dead yet). Focus on that which we desire and the Law of Attraction will also bring us the means to attain it. It’s not an either/or situation; not in this universe, it isn’t.

On a spiritual level it can be argued that the only reason you don’t have the money for what you want yet is because either you haven’t seen yourself as having that desire fulfilled or you haven’t brought yourself into energetic alignment with its happening. Either that or you already do have the money for what you want here and now and your vision is just too clouded for you to see it.

Fear of scarcity and lack cloud our ability to recognize our current state of abundance. We’re so afraid of losing what we have or of not having enough for what we need that we cling to whatever we do have; we horde. This keeps us cut off from the free flow of infinite abundance that is our natural state. Our focus on scarcity and lack creates more scarcity and lack. Our focus on the little we do have keeps us having little.

Despite common misunderstanding, “Money is the root of all evil,” is not how the saying goes; it’s actually: “The love of money is the root of all evil.” Money is just a means to an end. Fixating on the means rather than the end is the error. That just keeps you locked in a vicious and exhausting cycle of pursuing endless means. The ‘end’ is just your current desires.

Are your desires evil? If you judge them to be so, then it’s your desires you may need to change. But chances are you don’t think your desires are evil. Removing the stigma you may have about money is a invaluable step in allowing money to pass through your hands.

Everything is in motion. Like water, like breath, like time – everything flows. Disengaging from the flow is the way to create and perpetuate and reinforce the illusion of scarcity and lack. Engaging in the flow is the way to attract affluence.
